I wanted to use a tow-behind fertilizer spreader with my subcompact tractor. The spreader appears to have been made to tow behind a lawn tractor, where you could reach back and open and close the chute. It's too far to reach on my tractor. But this cable saved the day. I was able to connect the wire end to the chute and mount the control next to the seat on the tractor. It stuck a little at first, but I sprayed some WD-40 on the cable housing and that loosened it right up.
