If I could give this product a negative number I would. The zipper replacement price does not stay together and does not work. The pictures on the packaging are blurry like they are counterfeit. Do not waste your money.

I recently purchased the Quick Zipper Fix repair kit, which comes with 6 zipper pulls in three different sizes: two small (#3 zipper), two medium (#5 zipper), and two large (#8 zipper). The kit did not include instructions, but if you're familiar with zippers, it’s relatively easy to figure out. Alternatively, you can find basic tutorial videos online.To use the zipper pulls, simply snap them open (I used a small flat head screwdriver), place the zipper teeth inside the grooves, and snap them shut. If the zipper isn’t perfectly straight, you can release the pull and adjust until you get the desired result.I ordered this kit for my alteration projects, particularly for bags that are difficult to disassemble to replace broken zippers. These zipper pulls have made it significantly easier to repair without deconstructing the entire bag.I tried the zipper pulls on a test zipper, and they worked perfectly! The idea is a good one, a simple clip to fasten front to back of the replacement zipper pull. Might work good for thin fabrics and delicate zippers, BUT the clip has a weak grip and easily pulls apart, like when you go to zip up your jacket. I went back to Amazon and bought a stronger metal zipper pull replacement that uses a set screw to hold the front and back together. To be clear, I need a pull for winter jacket, thick teeth and fabric.

I needed an inexpensive replacement zipper pull in an attempt to repair my coat zipper myself. Having little faith in my own abilities, I didn't want to splash out for something expensive or fancy, and this product seemed a good compromise. So far, so good. It was fairly straightforward to affix the zipper pull (and probably would have gone faster if *I* were more skilled in this area) and it seems solid enough. The plastic is reasonable quality; you could definitely break it with some well-applied pressure, but I don't think it's going to break easily under normal circumstances. If you're looking for a no-frills zipper replacement, and don't mind having to line them up yourself to ID them by size, this is a good choice.

I opened the zipper to install it. I put on the jacket and tried to zip it up and the replacement zipper popped openand came free in my hand. Once opened the lock is compromised. I'm now going to a taylor.

Perhaps these would work in some applications, but although they went on, they wouldn't actually zip in my application. Regardless, they pop open so easily I doubt they'd be usable.

I used all 6 of these in an effort to repair a light duty zipper. They all failed miserably.
