As some others have mentioned, they are a little smaller than expected, but it does fit over a standard 1 inch motorcycle helmet chin strap. The padding isn't that thick but I'm hoping it'll be just enough to keep my strap from digging into my neck right above my Adam's apple on longer rides. Velcro seems to be strong enough. We'll see how it holds up over time.

These are not for motorcycle helmets. Beware! It will not take a 1†strap.I am as going to return but they fit the straps of my daughter’s equestrian helmet.

These things don't fit any of my motorcycle helmet straps. I can fold the strap in half lengthwise and make them fit, but then it's like a rigid tube under your chin. I realize they need to be snug to keep from sliding, but dang, these don't reach at all.

I got these to replace the buckle cover on a Troxel equestrian helmet. The helmet itself was in great shape but the original pad had cracked and become very uncomfortable. Now it’s as good as new.
