My first caldero, I got a small one because is light weight and the right size for camping 1 or 2 people. I immediately seasoned it after washing, just the same way I season cast iron, the next morning I cooked some bacon to finish the seasoning process (I had to sacrifice and eat it all in the name of science lol). Afterwards I’ve cooked brown and white rice both times came out perfect and no sticky bottom. Just like in cast iron I don’t usually use soap, hot water with a sponge or brush, dry and put away. The lid fit perfectly and I really like it.

I needed a rice pot bc i moved and i was using my roomates . First of all your supposed to “ season the pot†by puttin a bit of olive oil or whatever rub w paper towel & heat on stove at low heat once or twice to create a non stick kind of layer. It works perfect & people complaining it gets hot or sharp edges : it’s ALLUMINUM PEOPLE DUH .
