It is a major upgrade from the plastic recliner handle. Made of metal and much more durable than the original. Saved you a lot of repair money
Only takes 5 minutes to install with a Phillips screwdriver.
Firstly, remove the broken handle screws with a screwdriver from the side of the chair and gently pull/pry the broken handle assembly out.
Secondly, remove the handle and cable, notice exactly how the cable connects to the recliner handle.
Thirdly, reinstall the cable with the new recliner handle and stuck it with retaining Clips.
Finally, replace the screws and complete the reclienr replacement easily!

Had to modify the hole slightly to fit. Should last alot longer than the plastic it replaced.

I bought this to replace the one on my recliner couch. The original one was made of plastic and part of it broke so I had to replace it. This replacement release pull handle is made up of metal so I'm sure it will last longer than the original. Happy with this purchase.

This was a pretty good replacement pull handle for our recliner. The old handle was plastic and broke where the cable end clips in. The new one is metal so pretty confident it will outlast the chair itself. Finish and texture is different. This one is smooth, more of a semigloss where the old one was a textured plastic. It did not fit our chair exactly as it was slightly bigger in the body than the old one. If you’re handy then no big deal. I just egged out the old hole a little bit and popped it in but you’ll need tools to do so. I can’t blame the handle though as there are a ton of chairs out there with this style release. I’m sure it fits some better than others. Overall a good value for rescuing an otherwise still in good shape chair.

Works great. Made with out of metal. Much better than the original plastic one. It was just a little bit too tight of a fit. I had to file a little bit of wood in the chair to fit perfect.

Compre esta pieza porque la que tenia el sillon se quebro ya que era de plastico y la que recibi es de metal deberia de resistir mas tuempo
