I got this for the corded desk phone we are required to have in our home office. My husband's employer doesn't permit sensitive calls on a cordless or mobile phone "for security reasons", which I understand (sort of) but that dang phone takes up a healthy chunk of real estate on our small desk. When I saw this here on Amazon, I had to give it a try. I am so glad I did because it works wonderfully well by doubling the storage space- and the little flange on the left side is perfect for keeping mail that needs immediate attention from being covered up by other paperwork. The phone platform has a slight angle (front to back) raising the phone to make it a little easier to see the buttons. Ours is sitting fine at the angle without sliding, but if your phone did want to slide, a small bar across the front would keep the phone from falling off the platform.I am a little dismayed that some of the reviewers called this "flimsy" as I find it to be surprisingly sturdy for something sold at this price. Next to it, I have an organizer I bought a couple of years ago, and the construction of this phone stand is exactly the same as the organizer. Honestly, it looks like a matching set.

It works well, matches the other mesh office organizational stuff I got at one of the office stores, seems strong and sturdy enough to last a really long time, but I wish the paper holder on the side was actually on the other side so my phone cord doesn't get in the way. But it's still great, and worth the purchase.Edit: I've been using this for about 6 months now, and it's working out very well. Also, because of the way my desk phone is angled, I flipped the mesh stand around so the paper holder is on the other side. Perfect! Still in great condition, just as sturdy as the day I started using it. Definitely recommend!

I really love the height of this, and that it has a bar to keep my office phone from sliding off.My only one change that I might make would be to change the degree of the slant on the phone's platform, as part of the reason I wanted it was to put my phone at a steeper angle. I get a pretty bad glare on it, and can't read the screen when that happens. This helps, but I still have a piece of foam under the top edge to give it a bit more lift. Also, I store a binder full of business cards in the slot on the left, and it leans enough to potentially block the handset from being picked up if I don't have the phone pulled to the right. Perhaps a more defined slot would have proved helpful?Overall a sturdy, inexpensive stand that could benefit from a few minor design changes.

Great stand for a business phone. the underside has ample room for office supplies and even paper/files. The slot at the side is nice and wide, and will hold a notebook or your tablet to keep your desktop tidy. (I have an Anker charging hub right next to it, and can keep my Ipad handy, charging, and out of the way!) Previously, I had a napkin holder holding my Ipad, and this is a huge improvement! The bar at the bottom of the shelf that keeps the phone from sliding off cuts off at a nice point to keep the phone cord in front of the phone and it doesn't slip into the side slot.I bought a second unit to organize a collaboration office and keep the phone, an ethernet router and power strip tucked away underneath when not in use. Since the unit is open at both ends and is really high, it works well for a variety of applications.

I need to have things "out" on my desk so I remember to do them. This gave me more room because I can fit my stapler, tape dispenser under it, and the side thing holds my post it notes and some pens. I adjusted the angle on my phone to suit this angled stand and it works great. It really has made a difference for me each day because I gained all that space UNDER the phone which freed up the desk top area more.

Yes, the upside down picture can be confusing at first glance. (Take note seller and/or Amazon).I no longer have a typical desk phone (or phone book). However, my large laptop fits perfectly at a good height and angle. I have an old antique desk that I think someone had the legs shortened, so need a bit more height. There is plenty of room underneath for cords, charger, etc. And the mesh allows plenty of air circulation. I put a small desk top fan to the side and it works like a charm.

This could really use some little pads on the bottom to prevent sliding on my desk. Otherwise, there is room for a tape dispenser and stapler underneath and paper tablets on the side. I like this.

Good purchase. Have been using on my desk at work for months now and it's held up good. Sturdier than I thought it would be. Wish the holder on the side was taller because papers fall over but it holds folders/books well.
