The shelf is easy to install and is nice extra storage BUT......Never ever put anything plastic or flamable on it. The grill gets so hot, anything not metal on this shelf will melt.

This is a decent way to add storage to the Traeger 22 Pro. It's not fancy in anyway and it's not perfect but it's functional. I would rather have had a one piece metal shelf that can be installed like the bamboo models (by loosening the leg braces) but it's fine. I'll update this review as time goes by on how it holds up and whether or not it starts to rust anywhere. I may elect to replace the knob bolts with permanent allen head stainless steel bolts as a precaution.

fit as advertised. Seems sturdy enough. the Grill does not have a lot of clearance room from the shelf to the bottom of the grill, but that is a Traeger thing. I would reccomend this
