Installation steps:
1. First unmount the cd radio, find the jack position of the original antenna, and pull out the original antenna.
2. Insert the new antenna into the antenna jack of the cd radio.
3. Turn on the radio, move the antenna to test the effect at different locations, and find the right location.
4. Install the extension cord of the antenna to the appropriate position and finally install the cd radio.

I replaced my factory Toyota receiver with an aftermarket one. My model Toyota has the two antenna system (called diversity antennas), with 2 antenna inputs. This factory setup didn't play nicely with the aftermarket radio, with reception issues especially on the AM side. I tried a couple of solutions, this dash antenna being one of them. I expected very little from this cheap antenna but was pleasantly surprised. It picks up both AM and FM stations. Would recommend.

Stock antenna wire is broken somewhere in the dash. Would be a monumental job to replace it with another OEM-style antenna, so I tried this. Wish I'd mounted it higher on the windshield, but otherwise, it still gets me reception I couldn't get before. Totally worth the price!

Worked great. I have a car and the radio was all static. I wasn't sure if it was the radio or the antenna. With this I could get great reception on the radio again.

Don't believe the other reviews this thing gets static all the time might work well in the city but once you get away from the city out in the country static skips over all the channels

Easy to install. Really improved the reception on my 06 Avalon. Stuck it to thr top of my passenger side windshield.m and its nicely tucked away. Very happy.
