How to determine the spline size?
Be sure to measure the diameter of the shaft and count the number of splines on the shaft. Some shafts have a blank spot ground on one side. To get the correct number of splines, use a flat edge, cover the shaft blank through the diameter, calculate the number of splines on the other half and multiply the obtained number by 2 to get the total number of splines on the entire circumference of the shaft.

They provided an accurate description in the add for this universal joint. I have not installed it yet but I have not seen anything that stands out or makes me leery. It seems well made and I am not expecting any problems.

I got this to replace my broken u-joint on my ag rake. It wasn't a 1-1 match. Had to modify the square rod on the rake some. So far no issues have emerged. Will find out next time when wind rowing some hay up.

I tried to put this thing in a bind just to see how limited it was and I was very surprised how well it functioned even at max capacity. The u joints seem very well made so I see it lasting a while.

Pappy sez, It's not much to look at because it's just raw unpainted/unplated steel.The fit and function is nice. The ID is 0.0755 and it should easily slip over a 3/4 inch OD steel bar stock.No complaints, I approve.I Hope My Review And Pictures Were Helpful To You !!
