I am using this for a trigger control for a looper and it worked fine. It was cheaper than the branded version and just what I needed. Not sure how it will hold up, but will update my review if it doesn’t last.
Good fit and looks like leather

This universal sustain pedal has proven to be a solid addition to my keyboard setup. The polarity switch is a great feature, allowing it to work with any keyboard brand - just flip the switch if you find the sustain working in reverse. The piano-style design feels natural under foot, much better than the basic box-style pedals. The build quality is sturdy with a chrome pedal mechanism, and the non-slip rubber base keeps it firmly in place during use. I particularly appreciate the 6-foot cable length, which provides plenty of flexibility for setup positioning. The pedal action feels smooth and responsive, though it's a basic on/off switch rather than a half-damper design.Installation was as simple as plugging it in, and the pedal has worked consistently without any issues. While it may not match the nuanced feel of high-end piano pedals, it delivers reliable performance for practice and performance at a reasonable price point.

This is an ideal extra sustain pedal for anyone who plays synthesizers, MIDI controllers or digital pianos. When connected to either my main workstation synth or desktop MIDI controller it worked perfectly. The polarity switch is clearly marked on the side of the pedal and has a solid click when pressed. The cable is plenty long for hiding away under your desk and keyboard and is made from a thicker than usual material. The right angle 1/4” plug is of decent quality and snaps snugly into the sustain port. The pedal is extremely light but the plastic seems fairly thick and tough. The pedal action lowers only about 5mm which feels strange at first. Most pedals have much more travel when pressing down with your foot. It makes a slight click when depressed with your foot which may be an issue in studios that need as much quiet as possible.

I needed a new pedal to use with my Casio electric piano. I figured I would give this one a try. It works great. I have had no issues at all with it. It is a plug and play accessory. It feels nice under my foot and the response time is great. I think for $10 this is a pretty good deal.

First of all it works so you can use it with your keyboard or electric piano. I connected it to my Roland keyboard. What is confusing is the polarity switch. It is marked I / O and I don't know which position is which. Instruction manual could help but there is no instruction attached and no explanation on the box. By experimenting I figured out that with Roland it has to be in position 'I'. In position 'O' it also works but in a funny opposite way.For me the biggest issue is how loud it is. I'm usually playing at home for myself or small gathering and the clicking of this pedal is very distracting. My original Roland pedal is completely silent. Because of this clicking I can't use it.The rubberized feet are not too soft and are not sufficient to keep the pedal in place on hardwood floor. But to be fair they are slightly better than the Roland ones.

This pedal looks and feels like many other sustain pedals but a more reasonable price than many others. I was concerned that it would wander around on the floor, and it does slide a bit on smooth tile floors; but I imagine it would stay put on a slightly rough surface. The lever which is wider towards you makes it easier to find with your foot when you are not looking. The connector end is a standard 1/4 inch plug which is standard for most keyboards and MIDI controllers that have a sustain/damper input. I like the feel of the pedal lever which is firm without being excessively hard or soft with a little bit of tactile feedback. My MIDI controller can automatically detect if a pedal is configured as NO (normally open) or NC (normally closed) and adjust itself to whatever it finds. But my synthesizers require one or the other so there is a NO/NC switch on the side of the pedal base; and this makes this pedal compatible with a wider range of instruments. Some keyboards like my Korg supports something called "half-damper pedal control" which this pedal does NOT supply. This one acts like any other standard sustain pedal, a simple on or off switch.Very happy with this pedal.
