Big upgrade from those standard issue pads. Like another review said, can’t really fit the black foam in there so I tossed it. Regardless, for my head just the tan pads fit perfectly. Much more comfortable for those long range days.

Check it out. I rocked those trash grey issued pads in my ACH for a while, and god were they miserable. After a while I was able to get my hands on the black gel pads and they weren't too bad. Definitely an upgrade. However I found after long periods of wear, or pressure change (hitching a ride in your local helicopter), they got real uncomfortable real quick.A couple buddys of mine have Team Wendy liners, and I HEAVILY considered making the investment. I figured I'd look around and I stumbled on this product. For the price, and the positive reviews I figured I'd give it a shot. Took a little finagling to get into my ACH, but once they were in, they're really in there, and not moving unless your rip them out. This product comes with the 2 liners that are supposed to go together. The tanish colored one as the base, and the black one on top of it which actually contacts your noggin. I found that my kevlar won't fit them both for the size of my head. However, just the Tan one is more than comfortable enough! It cradles your head very well, is extremely comfortable, and your kevlar doesnt wobble around on your head. So when your break out your trusty old NVG's and you start moving around alot, your kevlar isn't jumping around making you look like a bobble head. I'm not saying it wont stop your green glowing night time tubes from still moving a little bit while you run, but that's your base plate/rhino/j-arm, and for that you should invest in a wilcox mount (another great product). But it definitely mitigates your actual kevlar from bouncing around all crazy. In terms of actual ballistics, I can't attest to it, and hopefully never will get the opportunity. BUT, I would assume as all the whole pad encompasses your head and is contacting your brain carrying group all over your head, it would spread load the blow to a wider area. Where as the issued grey pads if shot would only put the pressure of the blow onto the closest pad to the impact area and probably hurt a hell of a lot more. With that being said, we all know how well these kevlar hold up balistically speaking, so this may just be a moot point lol.Honestly, this is comparable to most Team Wendy liners, and I would advise buying this over them for the price. 5 out of 5, would absolutely buy again, or buy for someone as a gift just so they can blessed with these pads.

They feel comfortable so far , most I’ve worn them is for a hour. I can’t complain for the price it fits perfect with my ACH and feels better then those basic grey pads they give you… if ya know ya know . Recommended for the price and comfort

I'll start with SCA combat safety being all about your local kingdom rules, your marshals, and your Chivarly's advice. We care for ourselves and our friends, and this is my choice and experience with this product, for my specific helm type. Chat with your peers and those who have been doing this for a long time to determine the right course of action for you.If you go this route, I highly recommend this product.About comfort and fit -I did start to use the helmet this layer alone, and it was just fine. My helmet type is Roman, so there is a good opportunity for all pads to contact my skull shape. I wanted another layer for my personal comfort, and to provide a slightly tighter fit, so went with a compression pad in addition to these. As with my rider above, this is a preference, and you should seek advice. I did however find the impact absorption proficient, and five months into use the foam is still in good condition. It is still providing impact absorption. The technical specifics -The adhesion of the velcro dots is excellent. As with any adhesive, proper surface prep will make sure everything is going to work as expected. The velcro is strong and holds everything consistently in place. The foam is holding up well to the impacts and is not degrading.Clean up is easy and using gentle cleaners has kept smells eliminated.Once these break down over time I will be getting the same product again.

These are a copy of the Team Wendy pads but at a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend, but there are cons.Pro:Cheap and pretty comfortableThey will work in real issued MICH,ACH, and FAST Ballistic helmetsThey have 3 sections to adjust how you likeCons:The whole unit is big. They probably would fit fine in a airsoft helmet, because they are thinner therefore have more surface area, but in my Large ACH helmet I could not fit the middle section, or use the black pads properly. I did find putting the soft black pads between the gaps does work to add comfort thought.Due to the large size, you can’t use the typical over the head style of heat pro. You’ll need to mount it or use a neck band with a Velcro head band style. But I prefer that anyway. They aren’t all to sticky. In general when it’s On there is no problem. Brut having it off there is a chance the pad may come lose and require readjusting. The pros outweigh the cons. I highly recommend

I 3d printed a mandalorian helmet for my Halloween costume this year, but it needed some padding to help it fit snugly and comfortably on my head. This kit was the perfect solution! The velcro pads adhere extremely well to the inside of the helmet, and then with some trial/error I was able to get the pads placed perfectly so that the helmet fits very well now.

I highly recommend replacing your old smelly pads with these. I am serious; they are comfortable and nicely shape to your head. If you are reviewing this, that means your old ones are probably nasty or missing, so just go ahead and buy these.

Works very well to replace the lining of a climbing helmet. Much more comfortable and a better fit.

Good padding, fills the space and fits well, there are two levels of padding that Velcro on so you can remove and add to fit smaller heads. I used it for a costume helmet.
