This trolling motor mount is first rate in all respects. It is made with a thick aluminum base plate and the motor mount is secured with an aluminum backing drilled into the base plate. Nothing to break, fall apart, or fall off here. Couldn't have been made better.

Too small for a haswing cayman trolling motor, the mounting clamps on the TM are wider then this bracket allows. The bracket otherwise is super solid and appears to be high quality.
