This back pad fits well into my Tourmaster Highlander Jacket. I have ridden 1500 miles since installing the pad in a variety of conditions and found it to be comfortable and I rarely notice it there. It is a good value for the price and offers CE 2 protection as well as peace of mind for safety.

Bought this to upgrade my jacket from a ce1 to a ce2. What a difference in thickness and protection. I've got fractures in my back and I want the extra protection just in case.

This back protector is nice and thick... a little too thick sometimes. However, for the value for money this CE-2 rated back protector is perfect for my Merlin jacket. You can easily see the protector out the back which is why it gets a 4 star rating but there is not doubt with the thickness of it that it is a CE-2 rated protector. It is also on the heavier side for armor. The way the foam reacts is like a high stiffness memory foam. I find myself giving it a quick squeeze every time before I put on my jacket.

This is a properly thick back protector insert. Tested the impact with a baseball bat to a surface and it absorbed the impact perfectly and returned to its original shape and thickness.

Fits my jacket perfectly! Not sure how long it will last but only time will tell. Hoping not to have to test how well it works. We will see!
