This hat is great; the bird is cute, too, but impossible to 'wear' it, doesn't work with the stretchy attachment. But, we wore this on a Disney cruise on Pirates' Night and got lots of compliments.

Parrot was a hit. Only problem it doesn’t stand up very well on your shoulder. There is a strap but the parrot still lays flat. If I wear it next year I’m going to try double sided Velcro

Both the hat and parrot arrived in good condition and mostly as expected but did not arrive in packaging. I received them together in one plastic bag that had no labeling on it other than my address label, which to me seemed a little strange. I also had to stitch together the elastic strap to the parrot because it didn't sit right on the shoulder. This was for my 6 year old and the hat was a little big but it still fits. Over all, it will work.
