I've been using Amana bits, but needed some compression bits so figured I'd give these a try. They work great so far - have used in 3/4" plywood at 3/8" DOC and in the neighborhood of 600-1000 in/min speeds on my big CNC. Have also used these on Mahogany and rock Maple on a smaller machine at slower speeds, 1/8" doc with success. Liked them so much I bought a second set so I can have one set with each machine. Highly recommended.

I ran one of these at around 300ipm in walnut today and it held fine. No tearout either top or bottom with no chatter. I probably could’ve pushed it harder. If you’re gonna sand your edges anyway, these are superior to a down cut. I could’ve gotten a cleaner cut on the bottom surface but I set my machine to just expose the spoilboard and not cut deeper. To take advantage of these they have to have all flutes engaged.

Stays sharp longer. We'll worth the money. I do a lot of CNC projects and I'll be buying these bits from now on.

This thing really pulls the chips out of the hole when making mortises. The only problem I had was that it pulled the bit down into the hole so hard, it pulled itself loose and slid further out, making my mortise too deep. Once I tightened it really tight, it worked well.
