This works perfectly. In my previous home the insulation was horrible and I tried different kinds of weather stripping. Nothing worked until I got this. The adhesive sticks well, price was fair and enough on the roll to do all sizes of an average size front door. However, we chose to do only 3 sides to cover the small draft areas (see pictures). Now that is getting cooler I notice a small draft in our living room. Pulled out "old faithful". The best part. it's easy to apply and allows for opening the door while keeping the cold air out or the cool air in. I highly recommend this seller and the product.

Before I purchased this product, I watched many videos on how to best use it. So based on that I decided to buy it. I used it to seal my front door. Before putting it on, I cleaned all the 4 sides of the door. Now, this is important - while applying, I used a hair dryer to heat it up a bit so the sticker could be more adhesive. The time I applied was around Nov/Dec, which is cold weather. So the heating was needed. It has been a couple of months now, and the item is working as expected. It is protecting the wind flow. The only reason I gave a 4-star is because - a small section of the strip came out within a week. So, I had to reheat that section again and put it back. Other than that, it was easy to work on.

You can’t really see the strip but you can see the gap where the air had been coming through. I cleaned the door edge with alcohol and then applied the strip. It was easy to cut and apply. No more cold air! This morning it was 9 below with wind chill of -27 below. The strip was still firmly in place and flexible. I will be putting this on my front door soon.

I tried all kinds of weather stripping and tape. I live in an old house with many gaps around the doors. This stuff works better than anything I've tried plus you can cut it to size. I put it on the outer edges of my doors - some all the way around the door - sides, bottom, top. So far it's stayed on and doesn't look bad at all since it's clear but not shiny. Plus it really keeps the draft out.

Easy to use, just cut to length, peel the backing and stick into place. Noticed a difference right away s the air coming in around d my basement door stopped. Would recommend.

The silicone strip is of a very good quality. However, the adhesive is not good. Claimed to be a 3M adhesive but they have probably applied it too thin on the product. I cleaned the glass surface thoroughly, dried it for hours, applied the strip, waited 24 hours before wetting it, and it came off in a day!
