Great product, love the frostbite preventers on the end. Good quality material seems durable have used them time and they’ve been great. Did have a seal come out of one end but easy to replace with replacement kit from my supply house. Love being able to turn the gas off at unit without having so much Freon release and burning your finger tips. This has been my favorite feature of this product. Definitely will but again.

These are the worst refrigerant hoses ever made. They leak terribly, you might get two uses before changing o-ring, then it's the same problem. And running a vacuum, don't waste your time with these. I wish I could return them...

These hoses are quarter inch hoses they're not 3/8 inside diameter

These hoses work great with the high pressure HVAC units of today. The shutoff valves prevent build up of refrigerants an oils in the hose which spray out on your hands when disconnecting. Be cautious to turn the unit off when connecting or disconnecting the hoses. The refrigerant can spray out and freeze your skin. I suggest flexible leather gloves when working also. I added these hoses to a manifold and recharged my AC unit. These hoses are well made and perform well which always translates to good value.

The lines on my hvac gauge set were crusty and old. I got this set to replace them and I'm very happy with it. They arrived quickly and the sizing is perfect. The fittings I had installed easily onto these hoses and I've used them a few times without any issue. These are very affordable compared to other sets from the parts store. I recommend these and look forward to using them for a long time.

Was wondering why I couldn't pull a heat pump lineset below 280 microns through these hoses (not through a manifold). Later tested by connecting vacuum pump to micron gauge via hose alone, then comparing against micron gauge connected direct to vacuum pump. I was losing at least 100 microns through the hose. Will return and buy proper 20 micron-rated 1/2" hose. Hose jacket also has telltale relief perforations of a typical charging hose. It would be fine for pressure applications (though nothing special), but shouldn't claim to be vacuum-rated.
