This is what I needed because my internet company gave me a new router but it had only one ethernet connection, I needed 4 extra.

Very good quality splitter that works well. It's built well and powered by USB 5V, it will not work without power. The speed seems to be consistent.

I am a huge fan of things that save me time, money, and material and these 1 to 4 Internet splitters are one of those things. I have a switch, but it is larger, this is small enough to be concealed in a small out-of-the-way place and manage the four connections I need to make while allowing me to utilize one long main cable and 4 shorter ones. It says it can manage up to a hundred meters in cable length, but my cable run is shorter than that.The switch itself is made of aluminum, is good, and is solid, all the ports are labeled, and feature indicator lights for in-use or idle. It is powered by USB 5V, it will not work without power. I have not noticed any change in speed in any of the connections, and I am using all four. I am using Cat7 and Cat8 cables, but it is compatible with Cat 5E.It is in use 24 hours a day, seven days a week, but I have not noticed any heating beyond what would be considered normal. All the connections are solid and stable, I am happy with my Qingler ethernet splitter.
