This is a good cooling pad. My son's Razer laptop gets hot very quickly. The cooling pad does its job, but his laptop still gets very hot. I think there's something wrong internally that I have to look into. Regardless, I'd rather him use the laptop with this cooling pad than without it. It's very light weight and worth the money. It's also silent, so unless you see the lights and the fan spinning, you won't even know it's on. You can also adjust the fan speed which is neat.

Bought this to help keep my laptop elevated and cooler, and it seems to do a very good job. It is much quieter than the computer's own fan and keeps it cool (the computer's fan never kicks on now unless I forget to turn this on). Only have had it a couple months so can't speak toward durability yet, but it seems to be doing well - used daily, minimally 12 hours/day. Many angle settings (can't decide if I wish there was a 'lock' or if the instant flexibility is better), fan can be tuned from slow to full speed, very lightweight. Overall happy I bought this and would get it again/recommend it.

My laptop would overheat badly, so I bought the cheapest thing I could find as I was struggling with money at the time. This pad did wonders at first, but over time some of the fans would not work or it wouldn't produce as much cool wind as it did when I first got it. It's worth it for the cheap price, but for something to use for a long time; it is not it.I eventually got a PC and ended up giving this pad to my boyfriend to use for his gaming laptop, mainly because he wanted something to mount it on without getting any lint or dust in it on flat surfaces and something to help with cooling a bit.

I was a little skeptical when this arrived and one side was crushed in shipping... but all was fine. It seemed like it might be flimsy, but the engineering was solid. The motor that blows the air isn't loud ( I have noise sensory issues) and it keeps my laptop cool (the internal fan had failed). I highly recommend.

I love my Acer Nitro 17" gaming laptop. However, the internal fans on the Nitro, although very efficient, are noisy as hell! So using my laptop at night in bed was out of the question! That is where this Kyolly cooling pad came in! It is super quiet and my laptop NEVER turns on its internal fans because it stays cool with this pad! One of my best purchase decisions in Amazon, and I have been a member since its book store days!

Definitely Helps with video editing and exporting times. I don't believe it prevented thermal throttling last time I exported a video but it definitely pushed it back and has allowed me to edit faster. One problem with the design is the speed control being on the back and impossible to get to without turning the unit due to cord placement. I might go smaller because it is not fitting thw best in my computer bad however

I often took my laptop to watch youtube/anime and it does get warm after a while so I needed something that would solve that issue. The fan is powered via a integrated USB cable that you can connect to your laptop so you don't have to connect it to a separate outlet. The blue lights are pretty cool and the fan can be shut off via a dial at the top if you are not using it. It also have a little plate at the bottom to keep your laptop from slipping down. Over pretty happy with my purchase.

I've never had to write a bad review before but have to on this one. It lit up all pretty when I turned it on but couldn't hear anything coming from fans. Had to hold it up to my ear and it sounded like it was on but hardly any air was coming out. Hooked it to computer anyway so I could control the on switch and air level coming out. I felt it today and it was hot with minimal air coming out and computer was hotter than ever. I am now back to old one that is not totally kaput yet. It works better than this new one. I'd have bought another of my old one but not on amazon any more.
