I tried the locking air chuck out on my pickup truck tires which hold 75 psi air pressure. If I let go of the chuck, it would not stay locked. As long as I held it in place, it would stay locked and did make it a little easier to pressure up the tire.

Used in conjunction with another fitting to make my m12 compressor a quick chuck. Works nicely on bike tires so far!

Purchased a bunch of these thinking that make easier to put air in tires but design is 💩, if you barely move it while trying to put air in tire it starts leaking, I'd suggest going with the more expensive but way better design of the "Loc-Inflate" same folks who make those grease gun locking chucks, worth every penny unlike the above junk!

at the current temperature below 20°F the rubber seal is a bit cold so i have to give it a twist to make the seal. then it works correctly. so it not just a quick connect and go.

I bought these to use on the TR416-S valve stems I put on my jeep, only to find that my existing lock-on chucks barely work with these short stems.On first use, this chuck locks on easily and securely, using only about half the available length of these short stems. So it's exactly what I needed, and seems to work exactly as desired.I see a few other reviews complaining about construction issues and early failures, but didn't see any alternatives designed for short valve stems, so took a chance on this. I see nothing whatever wrong with the construction of mine, and no looseness or other indication of some latent defect. So at least for now, (Dec. 2022) it's earned its 5 stars.If I later find it's not as durable as I expect, I'll be back to update this review with a report & appropriately fewer stars.

I have only tried this on my bicycle but since the original cheap clip on connector on my current hose worked fairly well with a little leakage on the same valve stems I am condemning this. I cannot get it to clamp on at all on one of them and the other leaked unless I held it tight which is what I was trying to avoid. I don't even want to try it on my car. Waste of my money.

I held off reviewing until I'd used this air chuck several dozens of times on a couple of vehicles. No complaints whatsoever. Easy to lock in, no leaks, easy to remove. Way better than anything with a lever or a pinch system.

Air pretty much free flows when disconnected from valve steam. For the money, thumbs down 👎 unfortunately.

The collar is made of plastic. This will definitly break overtime.
