Our stove is 28 yrs old. This is the 1st time replacing the heating coils. Perfect fit. Heat up fast. Just let them burn off the residue before cooking. Funky odor but that is perfectly normal.

Works well almost the perfect fit without adjustment.Some of the prongs that go into the stove were bent, I could easily straighten them by hand.

Make sure you have the fan on over the stove,to burn off the packing smell !

I THOUGHT SOME SURFACTANT WAS ADDED TO THEM SINCE THEY WERE NEW BUT EVEN AFTER A WASHING EVERY ONE OF THESE ELEMENTS SMOKE LIKE A FOREST FIRE. OUR APARTMENT FIRE ALARM SYSTEM IS SENSITIVE AND I CAN'T USE HEAT ABOVE MEDIUM FOR ANYTHING ON ANY ONE OF THESE ELEMENTS. I WILL HAVE TO REPLACE THEM WITH ANOTHER SET BUT I'M NOT BUYING FROM YOU.

One of the two larger coils was oversized and would not fit into drip pan. Returned them.
