I did not rate battery life or easy to install as I just got the battery and had it installed by a local phone shop. The owner was very reasonable and installed it very quickly. So far it works great and keeps my Iphone 7 running great.

My battery had quit taking a charge. Some days it was fine and other days it would go to 1% as soon as I unplugged from charger. This kit has everything you need, including tools, upgraded battery and detailed instructions on line and in written form.

Swapped out my battery using this package along with another package for swapping out the lightning port.Now the battery works and works and works. Before my iphone would get hot and would drain annoyingly fast. Now it’s only warm and the drain problem is gone.The package has everything I needed but one concern, the little Phillips screw head no longer worked part way through so I had to use the one provided by the lightning connector package. I’m thankful for that, else I’d be stuck with a dining table full of teensy screws while waiting for a replacement head.

Looks to be a decent battery as the iPhone has updated the battery health to 100%, had shown “serviceâ€. I’ve heard aftermarket batteries do not always have a compatible computer chips with the apple software and would not update the battery health. This is not the case with this one, very happy so far. Battery, tools, case adhesive and battery adhesive were all very good considering the cost. Did not feel like a cheap kit. TIP - Watch the iFixit YouTube tutorial prior to replacement, this will help ease the process. Also, TAKE YOUR TIME breaking the display adhesive loose. It took me an extended time heating and getting the sponger to slide under the glass. I had to sharpen it a few times (watch your fingers). Persistence and taking your time is key

This was an easy fix for low battery on iPhone and so much more affordable! Be careful not to lose any of those tiny screws!

Worked normal for about 8 months. Now it goes dead after a couple hours even though it reads 40% battery left. I was disappointed my last battery lasted only a year, and this was even worse. My original battery lasted 10 years.

This is my third iphone to put a new battery in. The other two change outs were relatively straightforward. But this one got me. The iphone 7 internals are tiny at best. And many connectors are attached to other connectors that have to be carefully eased out of the way. After hours of tedious disassembly and the connectors getting smaller and more fragile, I gave up. Might work for you if you have good light, lots of time and eagle eyes but be ready for a real challenge.
