I was lead to this product after multiple reviews external to Amazon said it was incredibly accurate for the price. Well I bought it, I tested it on multiple surfaces of varying degrees. This thing is way more than accurate enough. It is well with in +/- 0.2 degrees. The device is simple to use, Pull Trigger, Aim Laser, 1 Mississippi, Let go of trigger, Read screen. Functionality wise it is great and spot on. I don’t personally understand the comments about the grip angle needing better ergonomics… I grab it, I shot it, it tells me the temperature. It fits my hand fine. The tigger is super easy to pull. The screen does in fact have an odd view angle. I need to let go of the trigger and hold it up to read it. But I can’t think of a situation where I would need to read the temperature constantly. So for me and my uses this product works amazingly.

All the functions seem to work and the temperature is as close as it should be for a product in this price range. I use this for everything from checking computer part temps, to food, to using it outdoors as a surface water temperature check. Bright lcd screen and laser pointer for accuracy.

Seems to work well and only complaint is the screen seems a little glitch. At time I need to tilt it to make it easier to read.. works well other than that.

When temperature is curtuial and your looking at every spot are you better with a hundered Thermometers ? Our one gun. Aim,, pull the trigger and bamb. You dont realize just how useful this tool is. Growing mushrooms for instance on need the temperature perfectly balanced. Without this baby I would have never noticed the heating mats increase in temperature. Saved my butt many tines. Next id my forge. To see the best air to propane mixture I need to see what temperature is as I open/close the air intake and propanes psi. For 10 dollars the value is fantastic. Seems pretty accurate readings. This helps cooking ability for camping trip. And its easy as one, two , squeeze!! Its addictive and soon you'll know the temp of everything in your house or apartment.

I watched the project farm channel review on YouTube and agree with the test findings. This is great for home or DIY project use. Accurate enough to easily see hot and cold spots on various materials with decent accuracy. The unit can easily indicate temperature differences that are difficult to tell by touch.
