I got these for use as a stable holder for lasers. These clips are perfect for quick attachment and removal for various experiments. The spring loaded clip fits perfectly around a 60mm diameter laser housing. Plus, the threaded hole in the base is easily adaptable to a tripod. The existing hole is 5/8†and the set includes adapters to 3/8†so I had to use a 5/8†to 1/4†adapter that I already owned to put it on my tripod. This worked perfectly. The construction is solid and reliable enough for regular, low impact situations. The spring on the clip (really more of a clamp) is very strong with two springs on each side. There are also rubberized pads on the surface of the jaws for traction. These pads also prevent/mitigate damage to the surface of the item being held. The base is attached at the pivot point of the clamp on one side, obviously designed for an off-center base mount, so the clamp is for angled positioning. This angle can than be customized through the tensioning plastic wing nut at the pivot point. This actually worked great for me, since I had to clamp the laser on one end anyway, with a large portion of it hanging over the pivot point, which centered the weight over the pivot point (see pic). I also do A/V and effects work for musicians, so the mounts will probably even get used for their intended purpose as well.All-in-all, I love these spring loaded clip/clamp mounts.

Not bad, springs have good tension and there's metal inserts to keep the threading nice, at least on the ones I received.Seems like it would hold even my heavier mics that need more specialized shock mounts like the RE20 etc..Took one star off because of the material FEEL. Had several of these from several different manufacturers, this one feels a bit cheaper/weaker plastic, almost 3D printed compared to the others, but still works just fine.

SO many wireless microphones ship without microphone stand clips. And the fat bodies of the wireless mics are very hard to find stand clips for. I've tried quite a few, and most are way too tight. These clothespin type work GREAT with those fatter Phoenix Pro and Shure wireless mics, and they operate easily. I cannot speak about the durability of these particular ones because I work doing sound mostly in the Spring Summer and Fall during festival season, but the appear to be rugged. If I find after some use that these do not hold up well, I will loop back and add those details, but they do look like they will hold up really well.

I love innovation and, boy, has the manufacturer hit this one out of the park. In my first photo I show the new microphone clip holder (the larger piece of the two) compared to what I was using. Not only was my "standard" microphone clip cheaply made, the plastic is extremely brittle. This is the second time I have had another piece of musical equipment inadvertently fall onto one of these clips and essentially break it in half, rendering it useless. This innovative new product has a very strong clamp, with foam padding inside, which can hold virtually any microphone in the marketplace. The construction is so, so far above the brittle plastic clips. This new product seems virtually indestructible. I love this purchase and rate the product 5 stars with no equivocation whatsoever.

My other mic holders only fit my thinner cored mics. These clips work with the thinner corded mics, as well as my thicker wireless mics. You do need to squeeze the clips open to insert a corded mic. Otherwise, there is no slot for the cord to go through. For a cordless mic, you will need to hold the mic stand while you insert the mic because you need to push the mic in harder to push open the spring-loaded clip. I don't see this as an issue because most performers are used to holding the mic stand with one hand while they insert the mic anyway.

When I got some new microphones, I discovered that they were too big for the holder that came with my SM58, so I ordered these. They do a good job with the larger microphones, but they're barely too large to hold my SM58 securely. Fortunately, I only need them for the new microphones. These would be nice if you have multiple larger microphones of different sizes, and you didn't want to have to switch between holders sized precisely for each. Since they are designed to work with multiple sizes, they aren't exactly perfect for anything but the largest size. Anything smaller has a little bit of room to shift angles. However, as long as you're not trying to use them with a microphone that's too small, they will hold it securely, other than the potential for slight angle shift. The clamps are plenty strong. The padding inside is firm and provides adequate grip. The mechanism for securing the angle between the part that connects to the mic stand and the part that holds the microphone holds very securely. If you want a holder for one specific microphone size, maybe get one that's perfect for that size. If you want something for multiple mic sizes that aren't too small, these are a good option.

I've used many mic holders in my time but never have I used such heavy duty well made holders like these. They will hold just about any mic including the large diameter heavy pro wireless units that usually have to use the special included holders. You get two of them and they look like they will hold up to the rigors of road use quite well.Come with adapters for the odd size mic stand as well.Well done!

These clips are great! They are nice and padded on their insides and can open wide enough to handle some of my large diaphragm condensers. That's nice as I've either broken or lost their original shockmounts, so I'm pretty glad to have this product.
