LEARNING TRANSMITTER TO RECEIVER
-1-The transmitter privacy (DIP) Switches are preset at the factory. Setting the 4 bits DIP Switches on transmitter to select a security code.
-2- Put the receiver slide switch to “REMOTE” location. Using a small screwdriver or end of a paper clip gently press and hold the ‘LEARN ‘button on the receiver to accept the transmitter security code upon initial use, when you release the LEARN button the receiver will emit an audible 3 “beep” sounds.
-3- After the receiver emits 3 “beep” sounds. Press the transmitter “ON “or “OFF” button and release at once. The receiver will emit several beeps indicating that the transmitter’s code has been accepted into the receiver.
Note:( If matching failed from the the first attempt repeat step 2-3 )

Millivolt valve System
This kit is compatible with millivolt gas log valve systems please read your fireplace directions for correct application before purchase. , if you have millivolt gas log system as in the picture , then this Remote will work on your fireplace.
Solenaid valve System
This kit not compatible with Latching Solenoid gas valve systems please read your fireplace directions for correct application before purchase. , if you have servo motor valve as in the picture , then this Remote will not work on your fireplace.

A fireplace remote that has a thermostat? Yes please! We eat our house with a ventless gas fireplace no more do we have to turn the fireplace off and on. The thermostat on this thing really works! And the price is fantastic. I have paid $100 every time I replaced the remote and it didn't have a thermostat. I like this one because it takes two double a batteries instead of that little teeny battery. I put the receiver box in myself took one second very easy. Last winter we went without a remote so we had to get up and turn the fire off and on constantly. It's going to be a nice winter!

Yep! Does what it says. I placed the remote receiver with the wall plate in the box replacing a manual switch. The wifey loves it!

It honestly took 5 minutes to replace the old thermostat that had broken on our gas log insert. I really like the backlighting on the remote and the holder for it is nice and very understated. I took away a star because the temperature thermostat setting on the remote only goes up. You have to cycle through the entire range if you want to drop the temperature setting even one degree. and if you miss, you have to go through it all over again. A minor thing, but really annoying. Other than that, love the product.

Easy enough to replace this receiver for a non-working remote receiver in a 25 year old Heat-N-Glo fireplace I have. The instructions said to attach each wire to one of the two designated terminals, but didn't specify which wire goes to which terminal, so I’m assuming it doesn’t matter (or if it does I just got lucky). The replaced receiver did have different colored wires connected to the terminals. Will update if my house burns down…. (I might have to deduct a star or two).

This fireplace remote worked perfectly. I spent over $100 on one of the bigger known name brands for another fireplace. This one you can actually see the screen being it’s lite blue with black numbers instead of dark grey with black numbers like the more expensive ones. I highly recommend this remote if you need to replace one for your gas fireplace. And it’s less than half the price of the big brands.

Very easy to install works well the backlit display is a good upgrade .Seems to be a very slight delay after pressing the on or off buttons maybe a second delay you hear a beep and then fire place ignites or turns off depending on witch button pressed .All in all seems to work very well have not used for very long yet but all indications so far are positive.

The Napoleon version of a wireless remote was significantly more expensive, so when I found this one, I ordered it to give it a try. Installation was simple. Two wires to connect and a simple pairing process. The good news is that it works perfectly and saved me a fair chunk of cash.

This was cheaper than replacing *just* the remote control on my old unit.Installed easily.Only complaint is that setting the thermostat temperature on the remote control is a wee but clunky.Otherwise, a great deal.
