- This product should not be used with acidic liquids. If the pump temperature becomes excessively high, it will activate the automatic protection function, causing the product to shut down. Please patiently wait for the pump to cool down and lower its temperature.

Excellent pump. Only two things to look out for:1) the battery connector is the old style auto lighter style, which has to be seated VERY deeply ( Im guessing that is the reason for DOA comments listed below ). If you don't seat it properly, it will not work.2) The large gasket tends to pop off - I fixed that using a dab of silicone.Otherwise, this unit works wonderfully, takes 5 mins to dump my tank, is very quiet, and runs off of a spare battery.

I'm living off grid and have been using a portable waste tank that I haul to a dump station in town about once a week. At almost 300 pounds when full my son and I could lift it up into the truck, bit it was a chore. Eventually I got some ramps and a drill powered winch so I could load it into the truck by myself. This was much easier, but I was getting tired of running to the dump station so often.I picked up this pump on the advice of some others living off grid and I'm sold. Very simple to set up. I run a hose to a 275 gallon IBC tote and when it's full, I'll have a septic company come out and pump it. It will cost a bit, but the convenience and my time saved makes it worth while.The pump appears to be well made, works reasonably fast. I didn't experience any leaks and when my tank is empty, it's super easy to clean - just open the water inlet valve to clean it and flush out the hose.

I just received the pump, just in time since I had 2 full RV tanks to pump.At first glance, pump seemed well made. Easy to install the clear tube and hose.Pump did it's job well, not as fast as claimed, but got the job done.I liked that it's quiet. It took about 15 minutes to empty a 40 gal tank, but I did run it 200 ft with an elevation of about 2 ft higher than the RV, so not much at all.I also didn't use the prescribed 3/4 hose, I used a 5/8" hose.The bad:The electric cord at 7ft is way short. With my truck parked next to the slide and door open, the cord was way too short to reach the lighter.I HAD to use the alligator clips directly from the battery. If I was at a campground with limited access, this would not work.I will keep the pump as it sealed well, did the job and was easy to clean.I'll splice in an extra 10 - 15ft of wire as I am comfortable doing it. If you are not, this might be a deal breaker. No use having a pump if it's a pain to get power to it...TIP: Fill some water in the tub or Grey tank to flush with once the black tank is empty.

I was sceptical of this pumps ability to handle our four 40+ gal waste tanks on our fifth wheel camper. I was pleasantly surprised when it pumped 140 gal of waste water without overheating and tripping the internal thermal switch. Also, much quieter than expected. I would agree that the cable connection for the battery is short. Was able to use a 20' camco sewer hose to reach the pump which needed to be towards the front of the campers battery compartment. I did have a problem with the switch spring failing after first use. However, it was easily fixed by unscrewing the switch and repositioning the spring.

Works great and easy to use. Handy to have for RV! Has great pressure and will empty the tank all the way. Make sure that you have the 3/4 garden hose so it won’t get overheated. I would recommend getting the additional power cord so you have the length to reach your truck power. Get this one!!

I wish I would have found this product before I spent $350 on a dump cart for my black tank. This macerator pump is a godsend, simple, easy, very effective.Honestly don't even have to wear protective gloves, but I do anyway. DOES NOT LEAK ONE DROP!!! I simply put the macerator pump on my dump, bought a 3/4 in 100 ft heavy duty "garden" hose because my home sewer clean out is about 80 ft from where my RV is set up.This pump has absolutely no problem pumping the long distance. Although in the paperwork somewhere it says not to go longer than 50 ft, I'm here to tell you that it has no problem pumping 100 ft. Also like the additional port that is built in to the pump where you can hook a second hose up for clean water clean out.This is a must-have for people who are set up to live in their RVs full time like me, and are looking for an economical, clean, and easy solution to handle their black tank. Buy this and you won't regret it.Feel free to ask any questions you like, I will try to answer them in a timely manner.

I have use it about once a month in the last 9 months and now it will not work. I have a camper that is set up in Florida that may get use every other weekend, flush the tanks once a month. The unit stays in a dry climate controlled place.I have updated my review because of the first the fast response for customers service in taking care of the problem.

First one did not work once arrived, appeared to be a motor problem(no current getting to it despite multiple sources). Returned without issue and ordered again, very glad I did.Pumped 3/4 full black, full grey(shower) and 1/2 of sink grey through a 5/8 hose 50' long. Never missed a beat and motor wasn't even warm to touch after complete. Super easy to use and very effective. Only thing would recommend is a cable extension to make powering it easier. Unless you have a DC connection close, then it would be non issue.Highly recommend

Don't buy this product it lasted 8 hours and ZEZGULER will not give warranty. Put it has a 3 year warranty
