not sure if it is the new ribbons or the new time clock but you can not read what prints on the time card

When I replaced the one year old ribbon in my time clock with this new one I saw no difference in the darkness of the print. It is as light as the old one. It should be much better. Maybe the new one I just bought has been sitting in a warehouse for a long time? I don't know.
