7/28/24 - I've been using this masher quite a bit over almost 4 mos. & I'm still very happy with it & glad I found it.4/5/24 - I'm very happy with this masher. Seems to be of good quality & it's sturdy. Easier to use than the classic ones with the straight up handle. This design with the rubber covered handle is more ergonomic, especially for arthritic hands/thumbs. The holes mash much better than the wavy 〰 mashers - I never understood why the classic mashers were made with the wavy S curved metal 🤷ðŸ¼â€â™€ï¸. Fits great in my 8" diameter saucepan/pot. Works perfectly for mashing potatoes as well as avocados for guac, black beans for soup so they soak up the spice flavors better. Given time, I'm sure I'll now find more foods I'll want to mash.I highly recommend this masher for its versatility, quality & price. I'm a verified buyer who paid full price & I have no affiliation with Amazon or the seller. Just a happy customer who found exactly what I needed in a quality item at a great price.

Does a great job of mashing potatoes as well as mashing berries for making jams. I am a woman of average height, but used to have to stand on my tip toes in order to mash potatoes with my old long-handled mashers. This one is so easy to use, as I can get some extra power behind it. The handle is comfortable, and the stainless steel holds up beautifully!

I love the quality & shape. This masher is sturdy and hugs the side of the pot SO NICELY. The handle is comfortable in your hand too. Makes potato mashing a breeze and the potatoes were very smooth! I was shocked at how much easier and smoother it was than my old masher.

I love this smasher! The stainless steel does a much better job of making mashed potatoes and refried beans. I had the vertical handle for years and had to keep mashing way longer but this gadget does it in less time. I recommend using it.

I didn't want a GIANT masher, or one that was too heavy - or too light! This one was just perfect. Great for mashing up ground beef also while cooking, rather than trying to split and chop it up with a spoon or spatula. I’ve mashed beets with it, too, for baby. Great kitchen tool and fits easily in the drawer.

This potato masher with a horizontal handle is the best one we’ve ever had! We’ve tried the cheaper ones from Walmart, but you can see where they’ll eventually fail—our last plastic one shattered when it got dropped.This one? Sturdy, reliable, and built to last.
