My mk6 GTI belt was making noise when accelerating from a stop, specially when the AC was on. I read in forums that this was likely the problem, so I bought it along with the tool needed to remove the old one from the alternator and install the new one. The old one was really hard to take it off, but a few sprays of WD 40 helped in loosen it a bit. I installed the new one, put the belt back, and the noise disappeared! This pulley looks very durable and feels sturdy and heavy, so I think it will last a while. Glad and happy I purchased this.

Had a weird noise coming from the belts upon acceleration when I had AC on. Deduced The problem is coming from this pulley. product was a perfect fit, so far so good.

Worked well until the bearings inside locked and cause the belt to make a noise. Got mine Dec 4 and it already went bad. Gotta contact the seller to see about warranty.
