Used this part to replace the alternator bracket gasket in my 2007 BMW 750Li. Initially I was worried because of the bad reputation of the URO brand (mostly old reviews on forums). But I saw that this is an improved design over the OEM part. It has been about 2 months with no leak. If it starts leaking prematurely, I will definitely change this review. This is not a job that anyone would want to do twice.

The gasket is much thicker than the OEM If you have an N62 with the large alternator bracket, this may work but for the 3-bolt thermostat oil cooler housing it’s not correct. As soon as my engine warmed up, everything expanded and the housing broke off the block. I’m lucky I was able to respond quickly or my engine would be destroyed.
