These are known to break on Volvos. Fixed my window on my ‘06 Volvo V70. Relatively straight forward fix if you have the tools.

I was working on a door glass for a 2003 Volvo CX70. the part fit perfectly into place. Simply slide this part into the base of the door glass channel. Then pop the regulator tabs in the place. Easy Peezy lemon squeezy.

We purchased this part and had it installed by our local repair shop. So far we are very pleased. The cost of the repair was much less than we expected! The only thing we didn't realize is that these should really be replaced in pairs. So if you're planning on purchasing, be sure to buy two.

Saved the day! My 01 Volvo S80 had the front passenger window fall inside the door; completely off track because 1 of these broke (funny having fragile *plastic pieces, that ride inside *metal guide rails, hold up your *glass window). Luckily, with the help of Prime next-day shipping, I was able to swap out the broken 1s for these, worked like a charm!PS: these were pretty difficult to replace because you have to remove the door panel, the guide rail opening faces away from you (at least on my vehicle), & there's minimal clearance to pry out the ball joint that fits into these. Also be sure to grease the inside of the guide rail to ensure longevity.

This was very simple to install. Also this is OEM do not buy anything else, because I went through 3 sets until I bought OEM.There are less expensive pieces out there but I warn you I've tried 3 sets which lasted about a month per set until I bought the original part which is built a lot better than the cheaper ones. I'm just trying to save someone from wasting time, money, and energy on a worthless cheap copy.

I lubed the parts and installed in to window track. No need to mess with the metal clips on installation. Just push or pinch the part on to the ball with pliers. Be careful moving window up and down when your hands are in the door, it could get you.

This appears to be what you would get at the dealers parts counter. Good quality part. Common part that an older Volvo will need sooner or later.
