Bought this for my 1986 BMW 535i. Was hesitant to pay the $70 for a genuine BMW item because this car is so old I didn’t want to spend the money to find out it was the computer or wiring. At this price, if it worked, and died before long, I would spend the extra money. Well, so far it has worked great. Hopefully it lasts a long time but if/when it dies, I won’t mind spending the extra coin on the genuine part.
