Perfect for turning simple USB 5V fans, LEDs, etc. on/off, resetting or disconnecting devices connected without having to unplug a cable and for externally powering USB devices without connecting 5V rails together.

It works, flipping the on/off switch connected and disconnected my external SSD drive. It is only USB 2.0, so don't expect fast, but it maxed out the USB 2.0 speeds. My big concern is the three large pins on the back that are totally exposed. Yes, they come with a piece of styrofoam to protect them during shipping, but you could very well accidentally short those while you're using this. And that would probably be bad for whatever you have plugged in. Would it have been that difficult or expensive to have a basic plastic housing around it? They're already charging $10 for what is likely less than $1 worth of electronic components.

I have a smart whiteboard that's a touch panel as well. I mounted this inline with the USB touch panel, next to the board where the markers are. Now I can turn it off when writing and the cursor doesn't follow the pen tip. I have to 3D print a little box for it, there's an idea of what to maybe include with this and charge a little more.
