I haven't actually used them yet, but most of my other USB cables are from the same maker, and they are top-notch. All of them are well made and do what they are made to do, no problems.

Bought it, used it for an hour, and then it stopped working, neither the USB-C port nor the charging port works anymore. No audio/charge is passing through any longer. Sad.

This seems to work fine for its intended purpose and seems like decent quality, so I'm leaving a 4 star review to not affect the current average. That said, just a warning to those that might be looking at this for the same purpose. I was trying to use this to enable USB-PD charging while also using Android Auto. With the splitter plugged into my phone and cables connected to both a charger and the car, charging happens but the phone is not detected by the phone. I can only assume this has something to do with USB host vs. device mode.

Pros:• Works for simultaneous data and charging• Nice blue extruded aluminum connector housing• Nice braided black cable• Flexible cable• Supports USB-C PD (Power Delivery) negotiationCons:• Only USB 2.0 (High Speed, 480 Mbps) data supportedThis adapter performs the claimed functions of supporting both USB-C Power Delivery charging simultaneously with data for an accessory. This works well with a high-speed accessory such as a DAC while charging a phone or iPad. The cable itself is a nice flexible black braided cable. The USB-C connectors are in a nice light blue colored extruded aluminum housing. There is a nice strain relief on all the connectors.I verified that this cable did work to charge both an iPad (iPad Air, 4th generation, USB-C) and an iPhone 16 Pro. Charging did support USB-C PD, and the iPad negotiated up to 14V from the power supply. Simultaneously with each device I tested with a quality portable USB-C DAC. The DAC did work properly with this adapter cable while simultaneously charging. As may be seen in the photos, the charge connector does not support the D+ and D- data signals, but the data connector does. Note also that only D+ and D- data signals are supported. That is sufficient for USB 2.0 High Speed (480 Mbps) type data. Super Speed (USB 3.0 Gen 1) or higher (5, 10, 20, 40 or 80 Gbps) data speeds are NOT supported. This adapter is fine for basic data accessories, such as a DAC with a phone or tablet, but not high speed devices.I did test and verified operation with a quality USB-C DAC (Zorloo Ztella) for audio while also simultaneously charging. I tested this with both a 4th generation iPad Air and an iPhone 16 Pro.

I got this with the hope of passing video thru it while charging. For this it does not work and if I had paid closer attention to the listing I would have seen it is intended for headphone use. I was able to confirm it does charge my iPhone 15 Pro fine while leaving the data USB-C port free for headphones. Since I have no wired headphones of that style, I can not confirm or deny that works. The price was reasonable for what it is, though sadly I must continue to look for a splitter that can handle highspeed video data thru the data port to use with a Goovis headset. Given that I certainly don't hold that against this splitter, for it does working as described.
