I ordered this adapter so that I could connect my USB-C style iPhone and iPad to a tv through an HDMI port. Although you can screen mirror to most TV's, I like to be able to connect manually when I am traveling to places where the TV might not have that capability. I tried connecting this thing to my LG smart TV using both my iPhone 16 and my iPad. In both tests I could hear the sound just fine and the charging portion worked, but the color on the screen was completely wrong. I tried using two different HDMI cables and two different HDMI inputs on the TV without any luck. I don't know if there's some weird setting somewhere I have to monkey with, but for me this did not work.
