Great Stepper Motor. Work as described. I thought something was wrong at first and emailed them. They responded in a timely manner but it turns out that it was something I did wrong. Once I corrected the issue, the stepper worked great and price point is also good. Definitely recommend this stepper and seller.

Using this little guy to hold a 28' long 2.5" diameter PVC pipe aloft and point it at things. It's super snappy and performs exactly as commanded.

I don't know if I got a bad motor or what, but this one didn't work. It just "jiggles" and won't actually turn. I double and triple checked the wiring and even tried running it without the gear reducer. It just shakes, not steps.

This works well but had a bit too much backlash for what I wanted it for.

I have 11 3D printers and have been working on upgrading them. Great stepper motor. The geared Z motor gives me a lot more precision that I was looking to on of my printers.

If your objective is to turn something smooth and slow, then this is the stepper to get. Also, get the Big Easy Driver for your arduino and both combined will get you 1/16 microstep with 5.18:1 step down gear ratio and you have an incredibly smooth slow rotation. If that is also your objective, then it's a no brainer.

I wanted to use this motor in a Halloween prop but it was so incredibly loud I couldn't use it for what I wanted even after making extensive modifications to and isolating the mounting with foam and using a fractional stepping mode. :( Also had less torque than I needed. Also too much gear backlash seemed like 5 deg. Otherwise worked as expected.
