Needed a new 3/16" Reamer for a project in Aluminum. This worked great for my application. Reaming a piece of 7075-T651 for a Cavity Insert. Got it delivered on the weekend when I needed it most too.

This is made in china. For the money the value offsets the origin of manufacturing. This tool is not aerospace tooling quality that most people feel they should receive from Amazon under 10 bucks. If your fitting rocket engine parts for a living this tool is not for you.

I purchased the 1/2" reamer, expecting it to have tight tolerance. Started reaming the first hole on my fixture plate, and noticed a lot of chattering from a 2% undersized hole. Sure enough, measured at multiple cross sections, and the widest parts were .510". I suppose for the money, it is what it is.

Nowhere in the description did it say the shank was metric. I bought a 3/4†reamer but the shank was 18mm. Too big for a drill chuck and does not fit any imperial collet. Also the packaging was a simple paper wrap in a bubblewrap bag., although no damage. The reamer portion actually looked ok but I’ve no way to use it.
