Reamers can be used to process holes in small cuts based on guiding function, such as: holes with diameter tolerance in ≤IT8; holes with requirements in surface roughness (≤Rz12 genrally); holes with requirements in roundness tolerance; holes with requirements in cylindricity; stepped holes (different diameter holes on the same axis); series holes (diameter holes on the same axis) with requirements in high coaxality.

This reamer is just as advertised, a good, low end reamer. It cuts very close to the right size (hole size, tooling, etc. affect this) and is just as expected. If I needed a 0.0001 inch accuracy, it wouldn't be a good choice, nor if I was cutting hardened tool steel, but for general work on mild steel, the price is right and the product is a great deal.

Drill the holes at 3/4 then ream to a perfect 20mm. Dogs will fit tightly.

The shaft is large on this about the size of the 3/4 inch bore diameter. Won't fit into a smaller drill press chuck or collet. Have to turn it to a smaller diameter in a lathe to use in smaller machines.

So frustrated bought a 19mm reamer and got a POS 20mm, remember u get what u pay for don’t waste your time.
