Waterproof is the truth. Tested outside after a storm and boxspring was completely dry and safe inside this tarp-like cover. I wanted double protection so I turned it over on its side so the zipper is on the bottom, making sure no drops could penetrate the zipper, I didn’t want to chance it and I am very pleased.

I used this for my memory foam mattress and it was great to keep it clean and also gave us handles since memory foam is so heavy! Did not tear. Used it for 3 moves.

I purchased this to move a King size mattress. When the movers came to pack it up, they were skeptical, but I’ve had mattresses ruined by moving companies before, so I insisted they use it. I told them they could still put it in one of their boxes after if that made them feel better. So, they packed it up in the tarp-like bag and found it so easy to transport with the handles, especially up and down stairs. The head mover said he would be buying these to use in the future instead of the usual box they try to construct. The handles alone were worth it to him. My mattress moved from California to Washington with a layover in a storage facility. It was unpacked and still in pristine condition. Worth every penny!
