The pole came in several pieces that were easy to put together. They just twist on to each other. It’s very discrete which is what I wanted. It seems to be sturdy when I shake the pole. The forks that go into the ground are very long- maybe about 8-9 inches.

I am using these to take the lights above my gates. It allows me to have the lights on the fence and not interfere with the use of the gate. It is finally a permanent solution to this issue.

These poles aren’t sturdy when freestanding. The string of lights were constantly moving the poles. What a hazard
