This blanket is so soft and well designed. You can lay under it and have it cover your lap (as an adult) or for a child it covers my daughter at night perfectly. The weight is perfect for her to relax her anxiety and still give her the comfort of easily moving it around. She is 7 for reference and 54lbs, 49 in tall.

My daughter loves this blanket! Not only is the Minky soft and the print cute, but my 4 year old daughter falls asleep so much faster for naptime and bedtime! Bedtime was always a struggle because she’s so hyperactive and wants to constantly keep going. Plus, she has a lot of anxiety and big emotions because we just permanently moved a long way away from the only home she ever knew. I was hoping we’d get good results from this blanket, but to be honest I didn’t want to get my hopes up. To my great surprise and relief, she doesn’t get up out of bed repeatedly like she used to, it’s no longer such a chore to get her to bed, and she is a lot less cranky overall! Would highly recommend, even if you are doubtful it will work for your child. It’s worth a shot!

My 2 year old is a very active toddler, and she struggles with laying still long enough to fall asleep. Her pediatrician recommended a weighted blanket over her legs, she’s 35lbs and we chose the 3lb blanket, and she refuses to sleep without it! She sleeps through the night again, falls asleep faster, and doesn’t move around as much as she did without it. 100% worth it!Also super easy to wash, and tumble dry on low by itself! It’s still holding strong!!

Love this product but I should’ve went a bit heavier. The blanket is too light for my daughter. Very soft and is one of her favorites to tote around the house.

I won’t call this blanket the solution just yet BUT my toddler (17mos), who doesn’t sleep well AT ALL, slept 8 hours straight (!!!) the first night we used it. Got her back to sleep after a little fussiness and she’s still sleeping (almost 2 more hours later at this point). I’ll take it! A wins a win, am I right?!The blanket is definitely weighted (I’d caution to ignore that comment that says it doesn’t feel weighted), we got 3lbs and she’s 25lbs. The minky side is soft and comfy, the printed side is not as soft (obviously, completely different fabrics) but still cuddly. Haven’t washed it yet so can speak to that realm but hoping it holds up! We got the pink leopard print, super cute and fun :-)

I spent the weekend with my grandson. He loved how cuddly and soft the blanket is! He slept with it tucked all around him! For reference, he's 2 and weighs 30 lb. He really loves the car and truck pattern! Great investment!
