This worked perfect for my toddler. He's 4 years old, about 45 pounds and 3'3" and it wasn't too heavy for him. It's not a huge blanket but he uses it on top of his normal blanket. We have washed it a few times and the material has held up great. No holes or tears. Material is thick and strong. It's a soft material and the designs are cute.

Feels very good. Have had this for my son for about close to a yr. The quality has stood up to multiple upon multiple washes. The color hasn't fade, no rips and performs the heaviness my son needs to calm him before sleep.

My son was getting up every night and coming down to our bed. He liked the feel of my weighted blanket, so I decided to buy him one. My son is 5 years old and on the smaller side. This blanket is the perfect size and weight for him. He is currently 42 inches tall. The colors are vibrant, the dinosaur design is catchy and it's so soft. Highly recommended! Great value for the price too!

This blanket is very soft and pleasing to look at. The one issue I see is that most of the beads are in the sides of the blanket instead of the middle section that’s actually on your kid.With that being said, I ordered this because my son has pretty severe anxiety and wakes up at 3 am every night and won’t go back to sleep. I’ve read a lot of things that say these are a godsend, so I took a chance on this brand (because I’ve literally exhausted every other option). This didn’t work for what I needed it for. The blanket is nice and I won’t be returning it, but this isn’t the answer to your problem if your child suffers from anxiety.

I bought this for my almost 3 year old son because he start trying to sleep under the dog bed with the dog on it. Yes, it was as cute and strange as it sounds. He goes to sleep so much better with the weight on him and the blanket is SOOOO soft. He calls it his cozy. You can't go wrong with this one. I haven't tried to wash it yet, so I cant speak to that.
