My husband used these chemical-resistant UV quartz cuvettes in an Agilent 8453 UV/VIS detector. The cuvette fit well and as it should, in the cuvette holder. The cuvettes are well made with no blemishes or issues on the light path surfaces. There are two polished sides. No issues with the cuvette after repeated uses. They are perfect for applications in harsh chemical conditions. They are acid, base & organic solvent resistant. They are heat resistant up to 525 degrees Celsius or 977 degrees Fahrenheit. Cuvette performed equivalent to more expensive and validated products, yet more affordable. The cuvette passed system testing at 250-700 nm, equivalent to the validated equipment. I was very pleased with this cuvette find and would recommend it to anyone looking for a standard 3.5ml, UV Quartz cuvette.

Hubby is science teacher. Perfect for HS science class. Average grade material. Might not be for professionals but works in the conte t that he uses it.

Accurate size -- within .001" all around. Fits exactly. Optically transparent -- no effect on readings at all. I am very pleased.
