I had previously purchased every extender/adapter I could find, I even put plastic tubing around the cord of the phone. Nothing worked, the cord would still tangle up, so frustrating and annoying! I saw this product and thought, what do I have to lose? It works! I have not had a tangled cord since I put this on my work phone. Very pleased with this purchase!

I get a crack/pop noise if there's tugging on the cord while in use, but generally this device works well and no more tangles.

These detanglers work fantastically! Know that in normal use, they will begin to wear out and create static on the line after about six months, but they are well worth the cost and two seconds it takes to install them. They are not a permanent fix and are a consumable item, but I give them my highest rating for effectiveness if you get those pesky handset tangles and then hand your phone by the cord and watch and handset unwind and twirl. No more twirl with these.

If you are on a phone with a cord and are sick of having it twist up on you, this product is for you. It is awesome to not have knotted, twisted up phone cord any more. If your phone sits lower, you will have no issues with the swivel hitting your desk causing the receiver to not hang up. I got one for every phone in the office, everyone is very happy. It does not change the sound quality at all. Very good price.

I got these to use at work but find after a month of use they get worn out and the phone is constantly crackeling. Have to unplug and disconnect the swivel mid call. Used two and the other two now sit in my desk drawer.
