Because rubber material is soft and elastic, we recommend choosing rubber end cap that is slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the product to be protected. For example: the outer diameter of your product is 9.8mm dia, choose the rubber cover of 9.5mm!

I off road, have a few of those quad hose inflation sets.. and a couple of manifolds the hose sets plug into.So wanted caps for the I/M females QDC, on my morrflate inflation manifold the Uharbour manifold.For the male that is on the "bottom" of the manifold, I used silicone screw end protectors sold here on Amazon too..We go to the outer beach, lots of soft sand and loose dirt. I'm bad with dropping things.. so wanted to do something to protect the QDCs on each and the male ends, attempt to keep sand or dirt from getting in them.The 23mm white and blue worked great on the female I/M QDCs.I've tried from 20mm - 24mm, 21 or 22 can work, depends on how flexible the PVC is.I've had some that were more plasticy , less flexible than others, even from the same manufacturer.So 22 wouldn't work, too "plasticy/not as flexiable". But 21 did.But a bit tough to get off, it really stayed on there, the 21 from the same manufacturer, was much more flexible.These 23mm were perfect, the sets I received.. they were flexible, and fit well and stay on, and don't have to fight to get them off, but they will not fall off.They didn't have Orange or Red in 23mm... those two colors would have been better, higher-viz.White in the sand, not great.. blue, not too bad.. but neither are high contrast for where I'm using them.So will have to wait and see if they'll eventually offer the orange or red.I'm not taking off any stars for that... they work great, feel great at this moment.I expect to loose them before the PVC ages out. LOL.

I used them to cap 2" pvc pipe to use as a balancing pole. Worked fine.

The rubber has a lot of friction with my tubing so I trimmed about half the length off with strong kitchen shears. Now they are easier to slide on and off but still have plenty of holding strength.
