Had an expensive 5-year old hand vacuum that we love go bad one day. I thought of tossing and repurchasing (as is the American way), but instead I'm glad I went through the device trying to diagnose it. After process of elimination, I found that there was a little thermal fuse responsible for the problem (it had no continuity at room temp), meant to protect the battery charging cycle from overheating. It was rated for 110C, but I couldn't find a direct replacement in a form factor that made sense for the device. Went with these, and it still works great over a year later. The best news is I have 9 more of these if the other one fails, and it's an easy repair.
