these washers are perfect for under the wing nuts on folding handles. if you have a lawnmower or something like it, that the handle has wing nuts you unscrew, than fold the handle down. these are perfect replacements. suprised the seller doesnt market this product for that purpose.

I needed a way to attach a 1" wood dowel to a wall but with a little bit of clearance. These were perfect. I had to buy 12 but only needed two! Oh well. Couldn't find something of similar size at the local big box stores so Amazon to the rescue.

I wanted to use these washers to provide a sturdy flat screw head connection of a 3/4" pipe to a wooden joist by running a screw through the pipe (pipe is a structural piece not a carrier of fluids). These were too large for the project, I had hoped the curvature would be sufficient, however was not. If used a 1" pipe would've been perfect for as envisioned.
