I used these to replace the crappy bushings on a John Deere 100 series steering shaft. I mistakenly ordered a size too large but added weld material to the column where they ride to compensate. Had to weld custom mount tabs to lower plate to mount. Upper one just needed holes drilled. Best way to reliably tighten up steering column. No more sloppy, worn out bushings.

the casting looks good, the tolerances are ok, but the issue is with the bearings, some of them dont spin freely and are a bit loose in the casting. fixed with a vice and some metal object to press back into my desired orientation. worked for my project, not sure how they handle at xx rpm as my project only needed to spin sometimes by hand.

I burned one out immediately running at about 2000rpm, so be advised these are for slow spinning applications and there is a fair amount of resistance (thick bearing grease).
