Honestly just amazes me that Amazon even carries something like this. My son's snap circuit disk launcher stopped launching discs, so after taking it apart it turned out to be this little broken pinion gear on the motor. I thought no chance Amazon carries this part, probably have to ship it from China and it will take 2 weeks to get here. Nope, they had the part and it shipped next day. Full description of the gear too, the shaft diameter, pitch (or modulus), tooth count, outer diameter. I was able to confirm this was the right gear just my taking a few measurements of the broken gear and when it arrived it fit perfectly. Not to mention a pack of 30 gears! Not sure what I'll use the other 29 for, but for spares I guess. Seem great quality. It's a plastic gear. Can recommend for just about any small toy that might need a pinion gear like this. Anyway, he's super happy his disk launcher is launching discs across the room once again. This is a pretty common gear size, with the 2mm shaft diameter and 5mm thickness (not outer diameter necessarily unless it's an 8-tooth) and 0.5 modulus. If you're not sure about a gear size/type you have, just count the no. of teeth and match it up to one with the same count. The pitch and dimensions of everything else are probably correct. Even though there are hundreds of different size gears in the world, this size is pretty common for small toys. Anyway, good luck if you're hunting for a gear like this. There's a good chance this will do the trick.

My daughter took apart some Zhu Zhu pets like hamsters etc and was able to fix them so they would move again using these little guys. She was so excited to see them work and move around.
