Just what I expected. Fairly robust and well made. Nice that it includes the 'chicken head' knob.

This rotary switch is okay and does the job but definitely has a couple of limitations.My biggest complaint is that it's very, very stiff and hard to move between positions. So much so, that the entire switch including the connections is turning rather than just the knob. I'm still trying to figure out how to resolve this as there doesn't seem to be an easy way to mount the switch to the casing with a small bolt or similar to stop it revolving.The other issue is the limited travel between positions. Depending on your application this might not matter too much, but I was trying to reproduce some antique equipment that has a 45 degree separation between each position. I would say, it's about a 25 degree movement on this switch.That said it's built solidly and the "standard" 6mm spindle easily accommodates nice aluminum replacement knobs.

Quality, heavy duty 3 position 2 pole rotary switch. However I cannot say this about the knob as the set screw is very small and loosens after just a few uses. The knob is heavy duty 0therwise. This is a shame as the switch is made quite well!

Purchase this switch for a project I am working on the switch is way too big there were no measurements or dimensions in the description beware if deciding to purchase maybe too large for your application but the good thing is you can return it through Amazon
